Total Look Design can create concept images concerning Sub-tropical, NZ Native, Mediterranean, desert, English cottage and concept gardens. Maybe a mix is more what you require. Hardy plants is a good foundation for any garden with repeat planting, foliage colour and texture is a great start to any project.

Small garden & patio areas create some green spaces by using pots or troughs. Use small leafed plants not to make the area smaller.

Apartment Blocks

Spa area graph shows native planting which is low maintenance. A feature wall creates privacy and a screen from wind. Having a path with stepping stones creates a direction to walk. Planting with a variety of native plants with different foliage colour and texture gives you all year round interest.

Total Look Design no job is to hard. Coastal, dry areas, wet areas, windy sites and frost prone areas. There is plants that suit any environment. Landscaping to your landscape is just as important as your taste in plants. Creating garden levels to help protect more sensitive plants from sea salt spray or frost can be created by larger plants/trees of feature walls. Planting banks correctly for erosion is important especially in soils with a large amount of clay.

Landscaping around homes makes the house appear more grounded and flows in with it's surroundings.

Sheryl has a wealth of knowledge regarding landscape design, what materials and textures to use, and appropriate planting to create a contemporary look.  She gave us an overall design for our pool area and surrounds, that incorporated some of our own ideas but with some additional design features to add clean lines and simplicity.
